Has it been 10 years (1998-2008)?? Wow! Time flies fast huh? I found this old picture of my family circa August 1998. We look so different (young, naive, innocent and skinny) and excited to be finally here in America. Marlon was only 14 years old back then and looks like he hasn't reach puberty yet.hahaha. Now, he is taller and looks way older than us. Must be the water we drink, "stateside" products we use or way too much Hometown buffet (according to Ge) but we look completely different now. We all gained weight.hahaha. Anyways, just wanted to share this old picture. Moving here changed or lives....for the better and we never looked back. I never had that wistful expression on my face once we boarded the plane (I was super excited since it's our first time to ride an airplane) because I know that there is an abundance of opportunity waiting for me in the land of dreams. I hoped you remembered this line from the movie, Coming to America when Semmi (Arsenio Hall) said while looking at America on the globe "The land is so big. The choices so infinite".
Hi guys!, I'm so happy to find these eco-friendly make-up brushes. It's from EcoTools. My sis and I discovered these brushes while browsing the make-up section at RiteAid in Union City. EcoTools are cruelty-free and the bristles are made of Taklon which is a soft and pliable synthetic hair. The handles are made from bamboo and metal coverings are made from recycled aluminum. I bought the brush set that contains a mineral powder brush, concealar brush, eye shading brush and baby kabuki. I liked how it came with a small cosmetic bag made from natural cotton and hemp. And here's the zinger: it only set me back $9.99 for the brush set and $3.99 for the eyeshadow brush. These brushes are extremely made well and you definitely get your money's worth. Visit their website to check out their brushes.
You like??hahaha. That will be me in about.....let me see....few months.. Besides killing myself at the gym and throwing up after every meal (for the record I'm kidding about throwing up), I think I can have that bangin' body in a couple of months. Okay, I think I have to seriously take my soon-to-be personal trainer's advice to eat healthier (no more Filipino breakfast) and commit myself to working out to get toned and lose some weight (I'm stuck at 135lbs for a year and half now). And I just have to suck it up even though those freakin' lunges and squats killed my legs. Its been 3 days and I'm still in pain. Painkillers ain't helping at all...uh huh!, 6 Motrin per day, plus 2 prescription painkiller and it still hurts. But then again, when I see Jessica Biel's body, those pain just goes away...haha...
